AGE: 84 • Maple Shade
Robert F. Barrett, age 84 years, of Maple Shade, NJ, on July 27, 2011, at the Masonic Home, Burlington Township, NJ. Born in Camden, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Gladys Barrett. Dear father of Bruce A. (Christine) Barrett and Barbara A. (Jeff) Minter. Loving grandfather of Adrienne Barrett.
Bob retired as a Custodian for the Pennsauken Township School System, Pennsauken, NJ. He was a member of Calvary Community Baptist Church of Pennsauken, NJ; a active Member of Merchantville Masonic Lodge 119 F&AM, Merchantville, NJ and a member of The Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Friends are invited to join his family beginning at 6:30 PM Sunday evening at The Stephenson-Brown Funeral Home, 33 West Maple Avenue, Merchantville, NJ and again beginning at 10 am on Monday. The service in celebration of his life will be 11 am Monday at the funeral Home. Internment Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers made to The Pilar Fund, 6926 Park Avenue, Pennsauken, NJ 08109 would be appreciated by his family.

Bob and I were members of Amity Lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was active in our lodge and will be missed. He once helped me personally when i was in deep straighta and i never willl forget that. He was a great guy and i will miss him

Prayers are with Bruce, Barbara & all the family at this time
Mr Barrett & yes at my age i still call him Mr Barrett! was a life long friend of my family
He is now at peace with his Amity Lodge buddies which include my Dad Don Buchanan

My sympathy to the Barrett family. Mr Barrett will be remembered as a good friend to the Buchanan family. I know he's with my Dad (Donald Buchanan) now and they're having a grand time together again.
