Ronnie,
We are so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people I have ever met. We so respected him and the job he has done in raising you and Tommy. Condolences and prayers to you, Tommy, and your entire family.

Love,
Terri, Barry, Caitlin and John Caruso

Just heard the sad news today from my sister Rosemarie Stites (Villecco). Ron was my best childhood and young man friend. We did everything together till we were about 23 years old. That's when I moved away from the Camden area to jackson, NJ to marry my wonderful wife Liz Stockman (Villecco). Ronnie was my best man, that was 46 years ago. For a while we did things together as a trio, but as time passed we saw each other less and less. Distance, children, time, life made it increasingly difficult. One spring day about 20 or so years ago, Ron visited our house with his two sons, Ronnie and Tommy . They were about the same age of my own two grand sons today; about 5 and 4. We spent the day reminiscing, laughing, telling stories, etc. We never saw each other again, not because of any other reasons but life in general and busy days. I think often of Ron, his bothers and sister, mom and dad. I can still picture big Tom sitting at the kitchen table with a Cheshire cat grin on his face when Ron and I would ask if we could use the car to cruise the streets of Camden. He gave us a hard time but most always let Ron take the car. Just this past weekend my wife and I were crossing the Chesapeake Bay bridge tunnel from Virginia Beach north to home. i said to Liz , I remember when Ronnie and i crossed this bridge in my TR-4 ending up at Virginia beach on a whim one spring break day probably in 1966, only a few years after the bridge /tunnel was opened. We had just set out to take a ride ,which led us all the way to Virginia! Ron, Liz and I never met your wonderful wife, but we were glad to have met you two boys. Ironically, our niece is good friends with one of brother Tom's children and she keeps us informed of the Fitzpatricks. I will remember my best childhood friend forever! I am so, so sorry that I won't be able to attend this Saturday's services due to a family commitment i just can not dismiss.
You are in our thoughts & prayers,
Your friend (best), Vin Villecco
