AGE: 94 • Glendora
Sara P. Sharer (nee Priest), on August 16, 2011, of Glendora. Age 94. Beloved wife of the late C. Marsden Sharer. Devoted mother of Patricia Heller, Marsden A. "Bud", Sara E. Hunsberger (Dennis R.) and the late Kenneth C. Loving grandmother of 8, great grandmother of 10 and great great grandmother of one granddaughter. Sara was the last of ten siblings.
Sara was Past President and a 40 year life member of the Glendora Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was the DJ for Glendora Friday Night Teenage Dances from 1951 - 1959, an active member of the Glendora PTA and secretary of Sharer Supply Inc. in Hilltop.
There will be a viewing from 9 to 10:30am Saturday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 10:30am at the funeral home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Family and friends may share memories at www.GardnerFuneralHome.com.

Our deepest sympathy to the family. I have many fond memories of the Sharer Family and their contribution to the good old days in Glendora. So sorry that I will be out of town for the memorial services but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

Dear Sara/Sally, Pat and Bud and the entire family. Our heartfelt condelences to all of you. Your mother was a special and wonderful person, who lived a great life. She has gone to a better place, one where there is no pain or sorrow, but only joy. She will live on in all of you and will always be in your hearts and in the hearts of everyone that she touched.
