AGE: 85 • Cape May Court House
ARNOLD, SHIRLEY V. (nee Nordaby), 85, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Born in Camden, NJ to the late Edwin R. and Mary Katherine (Behm) Nordaby, she was formerly of Avalon Manor and Stratford, NJ. She retired from New Jersey Bell Telephone (Verizon) as an Information Operator.
A 1946 graduate of Woodrow Wilson Senior High School, Shirley was a member of Ev. Lutheran Church of Our Saviour and the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 7247 Barrington. She was also a life member of the Atlantic City Chapter of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 59 ½ years Harold W. Arnold in May, 2010 and her son Harold E. Arnold in December, 1983. She is survived by her two sons, Lee Arnold and Mark and wife Ruth Arnold; daughter, Alicia Arnold; one granddaughter, Joy; her sister in law, Marion Ivins; her brother in law, Kenneth Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, and friends at Crest Haven Nursing Home.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ev. Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 9212 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ev. Lutheran Church of Our Saviour - Attn: Grow With Us Fund at the above address. Condolences at www.radzieta.com

Alicia, Mark and Lee,
My sincere condolences on the loss of Shirley. She and your dad were always so much fun at family parties and very welcoming. They are now together again and in very good company in Heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So sorry to hear about Shirley. Hadn't seen her in quite awhile but remember when she bowled in our league in Cherry Hill.
