It has been 10 years since you went home to be with the Lord, and I am still missing you! Even though you was my Nephew, you treated me as your Mom and I loved you as a son! You have gone from my sight but you will forever be in my heart!!!

My nephew Steve was a loving and very pushy guy. He would argue with me about things that he thought I needed and I would argue back that I did not need the more advanced things he proposed, and then I would go out and buy them. Then sometimes when I didn't buy these more advanced items, he would buy them for me as a surprise. He would call me at 6:30 am or so to come and have breakfast as various diners in Camden, and I would always inform him that I did not get up that early, because I was retired and also lived in Lindenwold, and then I would get up and meet him for breakfast; very pushy. Need I say I loved and miss this pushy guy.

What a shock when we heard of the death of Steve. He was always available when we needed him. To the Parker Family, "weeping may endure for a night, but JOY will come in the morning." He truly made friends at Saints' Memorial Community Church in Willingboro, NJ

My very deepest sympathies remain with the Parker/Bennett family. Our community has lost one of its dearest members. Steve Parker was truly a role model for all. Hard working, dedicated, wise, caring, loving, strong, humorous, and good are only the beginning of adjectives to describe this wonderful friend.

We have truly lost a asset and a treasure. Although his loss remains senseless, there are so many of us striving to preserve the meaning of his life as we redouble every effort to live in a manner that typifies the kind of man Steve Parker was. Thus family, community, faith, and love shall take a more prominent role in my life and hopefully in the lives of all who knew him.

To Joyce and all of her wonderful talented sons, please call on me to assist in addressing any need during this time of loss. And during this time, please know that God has not forgotten you. He sits with you in mourning, feeling with you the loss of innocent life.

Written in love and sympathy.
