AGE: 85 • Bellmawr
Thomas M. Kurek, on April 11, 2015, of Bellmawr, formerly of Camden. Age 85. Beloved husband of the late Teresa (nee Marini). Devoted father of Terryann McSparran (John) and the late Patricia M. D'Angelo. Grandfather of John III, Patrick, and Melissa. Dear brother of Anne Dominik, Sister Mary Virginia Kurek, Joseph Kurek, Blanche Daiber, and Jeanette Kurek. Loving uncle of Steven Kurek, Michael Dominik, AnneMarie Dominik-Harris and the late Joseph Kurek. Also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
Thomas was a 1948 graduate of LaSalle High School in Phila., PA. He served with the US Navy. He worked for Radio Condenser Company, RCA, and Campbell Soup Company. Thomas was a member and Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus and was a sponsor and benefactor with the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception at St. Mary's Nursing Home in Cherry Hill. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday evening and from 8:15 to 9:15am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR. Funeral Mass 10am Saturday St. Joachim Parish, Mary Mother of the Church, 20 Braisington Avenue, Bellmawr. Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' memory to the Little Servant Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, 1000 Cropwell Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08003. We will miss Tom and our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family. I feel like Tom was part of our own family. I don't remember many of our gatherings that Tom and Terry were not a part of. They were both such dear friends of my parents and all of the Belko's. Tom was a great card player I enjoyed many games with him over the years!

Dear Kurek Family, our deepest sympathy goes out to you at this time of your great loss. Anne, the Ordile family has always considered your family as our very own extended family. Please accept our apology for not being there with you at this time. We are now in Florida and unable to attend Tommy's services. Tommy will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
