My husband Lee and I found out by chance that TJ passed away, almost 2 years to the day in late August 2011... We unsuccessfully tried contacting TJ shortly before we adopted our 2 kids from Ukraine in 2006. Lee drove the moving truck to SC when TJ moved there. Almost 2 yrs later, in June 2000, TJ was gracious enough to travel the distance from Myrtle Beach, SC to be my husband's Best Man in our wedding in Hershey, PA. TJ was a kindhearted soul, good natured, knew how to make people laugh, how to have a good time, and my husband tells me that TJ unselfishly served his community as a volunteer for many years. My husband Lee was terribly sad to discover the news of TJ's passing... Rest in peace, TJ. Our sincerely deep, deep sympathies go out to this kind man's family.

TJ, I still can't believe that you have left us so soon. I have so many memories to share including Boy Scouts, our late-night race to beat Anne Coles home from the Moorestown ACME on Chester Ave to Evesham (we beat her!), the Rutgers movies, South Street, numerous Shore excursions to include spending the night in O.C. on an outside porch only to get soaked by a late-night thunderstorm, driving around Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Camden, etc., at night in your green van, attending several squad calls, being part of my wedding party as well as offering to drive Sue's parents to our reception in your truck, helping you fix your rental house in Blackwood (Stemlock Construction Co.), many Ott's nights with Earl and Dangerous Don, Chesney's Blind Pig, party's at Linnie's house, New Year's Eve party, your signature greetings including "what it is, what ails ya, rise and stein" - I could go on and on. Most of all, you were a true friend that always had a smile on your face or a joke and truly enjoyed life. Even though I had left Moorestown for several years, upon my return it was as if I had never left - that personal connection was still there. I miss those days of meeting uptown and just driving around talking and joking about anything and everything. I'm honored to have known you and have you be part of my life all those years. Moorestown will never be the same without you.

I've known you since 5th grade and you were one in my graduation class. I know you can rest in peace my friend. We have both been through a lot these past few years and actually grown to know and respect one another more. I wish I had known sooner about your passing to the Lord. Just so happens I'll always remember you on Sept. 10th, my birthday. Keep smiling.

I am truly sad for the loss of TJ. TJ put a smile on my face everyday when I came to work; especially the day of my birthday. I had the biggest "CRAB" shaped balloon tied to my desk because I told TJ that I didn't want to celebrate my birthday; as usual TJ didn't listen to me and did it anyway. I couldn't stop laughing when he told me that he road to work on his bike with that huge balloon and every time he came to a stop, the balloon caught up to him and hit him in the back of the head(: TJ, I will miss you so much. I still think that I'm going to look up and see you walking up the hall with a smile on your face. You're with GOD now and I will see you again one day.

I was reflecting on TJ's passing over the weekend; I can't remember a time in the last 30+ years that TJ was not laughing or joking about something. Our legendary 24 hour road trips to the Hamptons (Boardy Barn excursions), Ott's, as a member of my wedding party, the connections are endless. TJ was always up for a new adventure and brought an element of fun and sarcasm to each event. He knew so many people and has now left a huge hole by his absence. Rest in Peace, TJ.
