Timothy Evans Obituary

Timothy Evans

Audubon - Timothy Evans of Audubon, NJ, died unexpectedly on December 28, 2020.

Tim is survived by his parents Jim and Cindy Evans, his sister Kate Eckert, brother-in-law Ed Eckert, nephews Eddie and Eli Eckert, his sister Kelly Evans, brother-in-law Bob Cianci, brother Keith Evans, sister-in-law Margaret Evans, nephew KJ Evans, and niece Ruby Evans.

Tim was born in NJ on July 28th, 1981. He graduated from Audubon High School in 2000 and Rowan University in 2004 with a degree in Engineering. He worked as The Northeast Senior Estimator for the company BrandSafway for the last 15 years.

Tim was a devoted son, brother, cousin, and uncle. He enjoyed a little bit of everything. He was a resourceful problem-solver who loved figuring out how to do everything on his own. There was actually nothing that Tim couldn't do. He was an avid hunter, butcher, chef, craftsman, arborist, auto and motorcycle enthusiast who spent his spare time building computers, playing disc golf and helping family members with home renovations. His annual Fourth of July BBQs were an honor to attend. His love for his family and friends was obvious from his ability to always lend a helping hand. He will be incredibly missed but will be remembered most for his unforgettable wit and humor.

A memorial service is planned for January 15t h, 2021 at Logan Memorial Presbyterian Church. Unfortunately, due to current Covid restrictions, the service is limited to immediate family only. A Celebration of Life for all to attend is planned for July 31, 2021, at the home of his sister, Kate Eckert. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to Heifer Project International.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Prayers go out to his family during this difficult time. I remember growing up with Tim, from kindergarten @Haviland, all the way through to graduating from Audubon HS in 2000 with him. Many memories, I’ll always have to remember Tim....he was always such a nice kid, and grew into an even better man.
Again, I’m sorry for your loss.

Cindy, Jim, Kate, Kelly, Keith & Family....
Having the opportunity to “inherit” the Logan Youth Group from my Brother Eric, Tim & the Gang were a pleasure to be with....Leading to our trip to Heifer Project International, in Perryville, Ark....during a HOT summer week in July...
The Group of kids had dedicated time and energy into fund raisers to supplement travel expenses....and, as expected, a few pranks were pulled during the week...imagine that???
We can look back on that time spent with “Joy” in our collective Hearts, having shared time with Tim, Kate, Keith (on the Mountain), and that particular group of Teens.
We indeed share in this sorrow...
With Love, Chris, Dianne & Family

Tim was an exceptional friend, a teacher, and a leader. He would help anyone no questions asked. He led by example and he had a way of knowing when you needed that support even when you didn't. Our hearts are broken, and our thoughts are prayers are with you all. Tim was more than a friend he was our family and we will miss him tremendously.

Cindy and Jim , I'm so sorry for the loss of your son Tim. I never met him. He sounds like a guy that could always be counted on by his family and friends. A direct reflection of his parents for sure. I'm sure Aunt Dottie is introducing to everyone on the other side and lining up projects for him. Again I'm so sorry.
