Poppy,
I stay up some nights thinking of what it would be like for me to see you one last time. I want to tell you so bad how much you mean to me and how your such an amazing person and i wanted you to know that i will take care of mommy for you. You knew the trip to NC would ware you out but you still did it. And you took it for Shawn mommy, and I. I remember when you came to North Carolina to see us. Mommy says it was one of the last weeks that you were healthy. I regret that week... I wasnt home much. I truly thought we would all be in Avalon together again this summer. Little did I know things would never be the same again. I put my social life beore my family. Im so sorry, I didnt even get to tell you i love you before you left. I know you love me and I hope you know I love you. And part of me will never forgive myself because mommy told me it wouldnt be long before it was just nanny. I didnt expect it to be that soon. Im so sorry. I can say it a million times and then another million times but in my heart i need you to know that, I need you to forgive me. I dont know if you can read this or just know. But i hope you do. I love you so much and i know your with the Lord.
i love you,
ashley.

Peggy, Michelle, Maureen and Family, Words can not express how sad we are at the passing of our dearest friend and neighbor "Mr. J". Reds was the Horn Family's neighbor and dearest friend of over 40 years. Our families shared so many happy times together at your house or ours. Our family was truly blessed to have you both as neighbors or should I say family for so many years. May you and your families find comfort in knowing that Reds is looking down from above surrounded by many wonderful family and friends. His spirit will live in our hearts forever. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. God Bless

Dear Dad,
I don't know if you will be reading this or not but they say that once you go to heaven, you are able to see and hear everything. Let's hope that this is the case, especially since there is so much I wanted to tell you and was'nt able to. So let's do this, each night before I go to bed I will say my prayers ( I need to do that more often anyway), we will talk and catch up on what's going on and discuss the things we missed while you were down here. If that will work for you, that will work for me.Those talks will be between you and me. As for what I want to share with everyone that reads this, I want them to know that you were a great Dad!Even though I lived afar, I always knew that you were there for me. What you taught me by being my father was called upon many times as I brought up my son. What you taught me as a person, has helped me with my career and with life in general. I loved you very much. You will be missed by many but in my mind, I will miss you the most.If you could, let me know how Bruce, Mom, Grandmom, Aunt Bet, Aunt Mary and Aunt Joyce are doing. You are in great company!
