William Hennigan Obituary
Beloved husband for 65 years to Gladys L. (nee Teehan). Loving father of William Thomas Hennigan of Mt. Laurel NJ and Patricia Ruspantine (Perry) of Yarmouth Port MA. Devoted grandfather of Jeremy Ruspantine and Pamela Cina (Andrew). Devoted great grandfather of Julia Kendall and Travis.
An Army Air Corps veteran of WWII Mr. Hennigan achieved the rank of Captain piloting B-17's and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters. He served in Europe Africa and the Middle East. Mr. Hennigan was a district representative in the Housewares Division of General Electric where he worked for 35 years.
Viewing Monday morning 8:30 to 10am in the SCHETTER FUNERAL HOME 304 W. Rt. 70 Cherry Hill NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11am in St. John Neumann RC Church Mt. Laurel NJ. Interment Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery Wrightstown NJ
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of Moorestown VNA or to Cadbury Nursing Home Cherry Hill NJ.
