William Madara Obituary
Beloved husband of Linda C. (nee Condon) and the late Janis (nee Davis). Loving father of William D. Madara and his wife Susan of Moorestown NJ. Loving step-father of Christy Meyers and her husband Douglas of Richboro PA; Francis Pitts and his wife Carol of Exton PA. Devoted grandfather of Matthew Madara Michael Pitts Kendra Davis and Jake and Brandon Meyers. Dear brother of Samuel Madara and his wife Constance of Moorestown NJ.
A graduate of Merchantville High School and Guilford College Class of '53; he then joined the Navy where he served as a Lieutenant during the Korean Conflict. Bill was a licensed insurance agent and Vice President of the Madara Company of Mt. Laurel NJ where he attained the designation of CPCU. He retired in 1998 following a 41 year career.
Relatives and friends will gather to celebrate Bill's life with a Memorial Service this Thursday 10:30am in the Medford United Methodist Church 2 Hartford Road Medford NJ. Interment Harleigh Cemetery Camden NJ.
In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Road Cherry Hill NJ 08034.
