William van Oyen Obituary

Of Glassboro formerly of Paulsboro on December 13 2002. Aged 94 years.
Beloved husband of Eloise A. (nee van Dijck). Devoted father of Andre (Jean) John G. & William F. (Carol) van Oyen & Eloise (Jack) Ewen. Dear brother of Cornelia Ruyters Adrian van Oyen Jeanne Spillekom & Hank van Oyen all living in Holland. Brother in-law of Anton von Straaten and Thea Wanders of Holland. Loving grandfather of 12 great grandfather of 16. Step grandfather of 2.
Mr. van Oyen was born in Holland. He emigrated to the United States in 1950. Mr. van Oyen worked in the oil industry all over the world including Aruba Saudia Arabia Turkey. and Holland. He was fluent in seven languages. He worked as an Operations Manager for Mobil Oil in Paulsboro for 22 years until retiring. Mr. van Oyen enjoyed sports and music especially opera. He was a member of the Mobil Pegasus Choir the Germania Manor Chorus and the Mobil Bowling League.
Viewing Tuesday eve after 6:30PM & Wednesday from 8:30-9:15AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME 34 Hunter St. Woodbury. Mass of Christian Burial 10AM Wednesday in St. John's RC Church Paulsboro NJ. Interment Eglington Cem. Clarksboro.
