Alan Frederick Loetzerich
Evansville, Ind.
Alan Frederick Loetzerich of Lake Spivey, Ga., passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Piedmont Henry Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Evansville, Ind., to Oliver and Ruth Tracer Loetzerich. He graduated from Memorial High School, in Evansville, Ind. He earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science from University of Missouri, St. Louis. He served in the Air Force for 5 years. He worked with the airlines and as a travel agent for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Morrow, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunt, Nora Miller; cousins, Jane Miller Lawson, Sharon Loetzerich, all of Evansville, Ind.; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Beulah Carpenter; sister-in-law, Irene Carpenter, all of Berea, Ky.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lois Loetzerich, of Lake Spivey, Ga.; daughter, Jennifer Loetzerich, of Covington, Ga.; sister-in-law, Ilene Carpenter, of Berea, Ky.; and his beloved cat, Jackson.
A Memorial Service will be held in Richmond, Ky., followed by burial in the Richmond Cemetery in Richmond, Ky.

Lois and Jenny, when I learned of Alan's passing, I was so sad for your family. I know this must be difficult but praying that The Lord will keep His Arms around you giving you the strength to continue without him. My deepest sympathies.
