Evansville, Ind.

Alice (Greenwood) Titzer, 86, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at St. Vincent's Hospital.

She was born November 17, 1930, in Detroit, Mich., to the late Daniel Henry and Thelma Millard Greenwood.

Alice was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She was very proud of her family and was especially delighted being grandmother to several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Alice loved holidays and family get-togethers and would spend hours cooking and preparing for her company. Friends, family and neighbors particularly knew her for her amazing red velvet cake.

Alice is survived by her sons, Gary Titzer and wife Jan, of Evansville, Ken Titzer and wife, Sharon, of Evansville; daughter, Pam Martin and husband, Sander, of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Chris Titzer and wife, Kathleen, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Joe Titzer and wife, Kylee, of Charleston, S.C., Mike Titzer and wife, Maria, of Evansville, Aaron Garrison, of Evansville, Natalie Arazoza and husband, Anfernee, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wayne Walrath and wife, Christa, of Phoenicia, N.Y.; and great-grandchildren, Dalton Titzer, of Boonville, Abby, Kevin, Matthew and Nathan Titzer, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Mallory Titzer, of Evansville. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clarence J. Titzer; her brothers Bill, Joe; sisters, Virginia Krull, Dorothy Greenwood, Marion White and Margaret Moore; and grandson, Kenneth D. Titzer.

Visitation will be Friday, May 26, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville, Ind., with funeral service on Saturday, 10 a.m. Online condolences may be offered at www.sunsetevansville.com.
