Anna K. O'Bryan, 75 of Newburgh passed away at 5:30 pm, Monday, March 25, 2013 at The Villages Regional Hospital in Lady Lake, Florida.
Anna was born November 2, 1937 in Evansville the daughter of Raymond and Gaybell (Stricklin) King. She was a 1956 graduate of Bosse High School. Anna was a life member of Central United Methodist Church and a member of United Methodist Women. Anna along with her husband, Arthur, founded O'Bryan Barrel Company and O'Bryan Transport in 1962. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Arthur O'Bryan of Newburgh, children, Tim O'Bryan of Evansville and Dan O'Bryan, Andy O'Bryan (Vanessa) and Jennifer Willis (Brandon), all of Newburgh, sisters, Rebecca Morgan, Donna Matthiesen, Jacqueline Whitmore and Joy Halbig, grandchildren, Brandon O'Bryan (Lara), Kelly O'Bryan, Ashley O'Bryan, Sabrina O'Bryan, Logan O'Bryan, Christina Denton, Joseph O'Bryan, Johnathan O'Bryan, Shelby O'Bryan, Jackson O'Bryan, Andrew O'Bryan and Cooper Willis and great grandchildren, Reed and Tinley. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Cynthia Sue O'Bryan in 1958 and a sister, Jeanine Spinks in 2002.
A Service of Witness to the resurrection will be held at 10 am, Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Central United Methodist Church, 300 Mary St., Evansville with Pastor Jack Scott officiating. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3 pm until 7 pm, Friday, March 29, 2013 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville and again from 9 am until time of service at 10 am, Saturday, at the church.
