Arthur R. Frick, 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Deaconess VNA Hospice. He was born October 28, 1947 in Armstrong, Indiana to the late Raymond and Ethelinda (Schenk) Frick. He recently resided at New Harmony Health Care.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters; Mary C. Fickas (Joe) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana, Darlene Fickas, Dorris Goedde (Urban), Rita Harris (Harvey) all of Evansville; Uncle Art's nieces and nephews, Tammy Fickas, Randy Goedde (Lisa), Shelly Powell (Tom), Mark Goedde (Beth), Kim Fickas, Mike Bippus (Becky), Chris Bippus (Debbie), and Matt Bippus (Karen).
Art was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, dancing and enjoyed the gospel music by Elvis.
Arthur was always happy and loving and had hugs for everyone. The family would like to thank all the nurses and caretakers at Deaconess ICU and VNA Hospice.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 North First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710, with a funeral service at 11:30 am. at the funeral home with Father Jay Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Wendel Catholic Cemetery, St. Wendel, Indiana
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 704 North First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710, or St. Vincent de Paul.
