Barbara Parsons Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Barbara Roeder Parsons, 83, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Newburgh Health Care.
Barbara was born in Chicago, Ill., on June 8, 1933, to the late Clarence and Rose (Jaros) Spahr. She worked as a waitress at Knotty Pine Cafe for 35 years. Barbara also worked at the Dollar General Store in Fairlawn for five years, until November of 2001, when she retired.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Terri Wohlhueter (Mike), of Evansville, Ind.; sons, Jeff Roeder (Cheryl), David Roeder and Steve Roeder, all of Evansville, Ind.; brother, Jim Pavlik, of Worcester, Mass.; grandchildren, Jason (Cori) Wohlhueter, Nick Wohlhueter, Bailey Balbach (Josh), Zach Roeder, Josh Roeder (Kristen), Julie Adams (Craig), Jacob Roeder (Amanda) and Stephen Schaefer; and great-grandchildren, Joanna and Sydney Wohlhueter and Knox and Harlow Roeder.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 E. Diamond Avenue, Evansville Indiana 47711, with Chaplain John Hilbert officiating.
Friends may visit from 1 p.m. until service time, Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Browning Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice and Newburgh Health Care for their loving care and compassion.

Barbar will truly be missed. I love her. I worked at the nursing home where she was. One of her housekeepers. I am praying for each and everyone of y'all. Gone but never forgotten.
