Betty Mead, 93, of Rockford, MI, formerly of Alcester, SD, died March 6, 2016 in Rockford. Funeral services are 10AM Tues., March 15th at Alcester Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. The family requests memorials to Alcester Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Ronald) Holthe of Logan, IA; son, Rev. Daniel (Barbara) Mead of Rockford, MI; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae (Kenneth) Buthe of Sioux Falls; 2 brothers, Clifford Gile and Ray Gile, both of Madison, SD; and a sister-in-law, Donna Gile of Brandon, SD.
