Newburgh, Ind.
Brenda Sue Harker, 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda retired from Mead Johnson after 35 years of service.
Brenda joined Civitan in 1990. She was a member of the Evansville Singles Civitan Club and was a Past President. She was awarded Club Honor Key and Midwest Fellow. She was Governor of the Midwest District in 1997 and was awarded the Midwest District Honor Key. She was also a member of the Evansville North Civitan Club.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Harker, Sr.; her mother, Bertha (Berry) Harker; her sister, Bonnie Woolsey; and her niece, Starla Lloyd.
Brenda is survived by her brothers, Marvin Harker, Jr. (Kathy), Michael (Greta) Harker, all of Chandler; sister, Robin (John) Lamont of Russell Springs, Ky.; and brother-in-law, Don Woolsey of Mackay, Ind. She is also survived by nephews, Matthew, Ryan and Eric Harker, Tim, Clint and Jeff Bottoms; nieces, Renai Burton and Jordan Edlin.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel 7022 Heim Road Chandler, Ind.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Koehler Funeral Home Perigo Chapel in Chandler and from 10 a.m until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions in memory of Brenda may be made to American Diabetes Association.
