Carole Cavanah Obituary
Evansville - Carole F. Cavanah, 80 of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Select Specialty Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1939.
She was a past president of the VFW Post 1114 Ladies Auxiliary, she had worked as a dispatcher for Yellow Cab Company, Executive Inn, and Evansville Pagoda Visitor's Center. She was a champion bowler and bowled in three leagues. She loved her dogs Panoodle and Princess Leia.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arch and Marguerite Nelson; brother, Jerry Nelson; grandson, Yoshua Phillips.
Carole is survived by her husband of 25 years Clyde Louis Cavanah; daughters, Marguerite Rita Matheny, Candie Sanders; son, Bryant Cole (Glenna); step daughter, Heather Vaughn (Wayne); 7 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Ficker; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday March 16, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel with entombment to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 2-6 p.m. Sunday March 15, 2020 at the funeral home.
