Evansville, Ind.
Darlene (Hoefling) Bethe, 82, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. She was born February 18, 1935, to the late Urban and Marcella "Sally" Hoefling.
Darlene attended Bosse High School and St. James Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially clabber, camping and fishing. She was a Peyton Manning fan and enjoyed watching the Colts, Cowboys and Notre Dame football. She truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Darlene is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dale A Bethe; daughters, Ann (Kelly) Fodge of Paris, Texas, Lynn (Mike) Marvell of Summerville, Ind., Amy (Tim) Patrick of Albion, Ill., and Natalie (Jim) Ford of Boonville, Ind.; sons, Greg (Carol) Broerman of Evansville, Ind., Tony (Rhonda) Broermanof Richland City, Ind., and Kevin (Michelle) Bethe of Sellersburg, Ind.; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Janice Neale; brother, Urban (Linda) Hoefling, Jr. ; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by John Broerman; son, Kenneth R.Broerman.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2017, from 2 until 8 p.m. and continue 10 a.m. to noon Monday, December 11, 2017, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 First Avenue, Evansville, Indiana, 47710. Funeral services will begin at noon at the funeral home with Father Ted Tempel officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
