Evansville, Indiana
Donna K. (Hacker) Toone, 68, of Evansville passed away Thursday March 5, 2015 at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice Center. She was born September 25, 1946 in Evansville to the late Bernard L. and Dorothy (Edwards) Hacker.
Donna was a professional seamstress working for Carol Lantz, Evansville Store, Elder Berman, DeJongs, Strouse, Lazarus, Stewarts and Joseph H. Banks. She was a devoted catholic and member of St. John the Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchild and enjoyed making trips to Disney World.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband M. Eugene "Gene" Toone and parents.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Toone (Janey) of Indianapolis, Scott Toone (Nicole) of Evansville and Matt Toone (Andrea) of Elm Grove, WI; grandchildren, Clay, Jack, Beau, Newt, Victoria Toone Stern (Lukas), Andrea, Ashley, Ethan, Morgan and Harrison Toone; great grandson, Jaxon Stern; sister, Carol McDermand (David) of Bryan, TX and niece, Sarah Dodson of Houston, TX; cousins, Kennard Hacker and Suzanne Ledbetter.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday March 8, 2015 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., Evansville, IN 47714 with a memorial service at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue from 10:00 - 11:00 am Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 725 Frame Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am Monday March 9, 2015 at the church with Fr. Officiating.
Burial will be at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice Center, 610 E. Walnut St., Evansville, IN 47713 or Warrick County Humane Society, PO Box 82, Newburgh, IN 47630.

your smile could light up a room and was so contagious! I will miss you but know your an angel watching over our family with all the others we have lost. I will continue to pray for the family that during this time they can be at peace. And I'm very sorry I cant be there.
