Mount Vernon, Ind.
Dorothy D. (Schneider) Hack, 86, of Mt. Vernon, Ind., passed away Friday, July 7, 2017, at her home. She was born December 24, 1930, in Crossville, Ill., to late Melvin "Joe" and Cora (Jacobs) Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Schneider.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (David) Monroe; sons, Ronald (Marilyn) Hack, Donald (Sandra) Hack and Stanley (Joyce) Hack; grandchildren, Kim (Jerry) Owens, Donald (Cindy) Hack Jr., Tasha Hack, Waylon (Sabrina) Loehr, Lee (Erika) Thomas and Rebecca (Tony) Menke; fourteen great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main St., Mt. Vernon, IN, with burial to follow in Old Beech Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
