Edward B. Herr, 69, of Boonville, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2017, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Ind.

Eddie was born in Evansville, Ind., on July 31, 1947, to the late Edward Paul and Marie Lillian (McCormick) Herr.

Eddie worked as a coal miner for 34 years. Eddie was the president of Herr's Enterprise, and owner of Herr's Body Shop. He was a member of the Lynnville Masonic Lodge # 396 and the Shrine Club for many years. He loved to go to the drag races and race with his brother. He loved watching Nascar and collecting baseball cards. Eddie was a very kind, giving, and good hearted person.

He was preceded in death by his great-nephew, Dalton.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 12 years, Bonnie Osha, of Boonville, Ind., and her children, Andy, Jesse and Michaelle; children, Lisa, Kevin and Cheryl; grandchildren, Makayla, Tristan, Corryn and Quinten; brother, Gary Herr and his wife, Amanda Bruner, of Boonville, Ind.; nieces and nephews, Andy, Toby and Lori; greatnieces and nephews, Logan, Ryan, Jarred, Mason, Elijah, Lane, Paige, Jake, Cody, Austin and Aaliyah; and great-great-nephew, Mason.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2017 from noon until 3 p.m. at Koehler Funeral Home in Boonville, Ind.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the funeral home, with Pastor Bill Tennyson officiating. A Masonic memorial service will be held at 2:40 p.m. before the funeral service.

Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Newburgh, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children. Friends unable to attend may send a condolence to the family at www.KoehlerFuneralHome.com.

Sincere Regrets to the Herr family I am sure Ed will be missed. I go back 50 years to the time Ed was training in welding with all of us at Arkla. Needless to say, we all had a pretty good and memorable time.
