Boonville, Indiana
Edwina J. Waldbieser, 86, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away September 5, 2017.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and a former Warrick County Probation Officer. She was a former member of St. John United Church of Christ, Boonville, and St. Luke United Church of Christ, Speedway, where she had taught Sunday School for many years. An active volunteer, she was involved with the Mental Health Association for 50 years, past president of Indiana PTA, American Cancer Society, regional leader for Girl Scouts of Southern Indiana, Brownie and Cub Scout leader.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Waldbieser, son Randall Waldbieser, grandson Grant Waldbieser, sister Anna Mae Kearns and brother Jerry Snyder.
Survivors include children Gregory (Joni) Waldbieser, Gretchen (Nick) Xinopoulos, and Geoffrey (Laurel) Waldbieser; brother Eugene Snyder; sister Marionette Blood; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and sixteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1 P.M. (CST) at the Koehler Funeral Home, 304 E. Main St., Boonville, IN 47601, with visitation from 11 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at Koehler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sunset Cemetery, Winslow, IN.
