Emerson Moser Obituary

SEBREE — Emerson Moser, 72, of Sebree, Ky., passed away at 10:52 p.m. Sunday, December 16, 2007, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

He was born in Webster County, Ky., on September 30, 1935, to the late Albert Kelly and Bessie (Nevitt) Moser.

He was a member of the Sebree General Baptist Church and a Korean War era Army veteran.

He established E&M Heating and Air Conditioning in Sebree in 1976. He was still active in the business.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Norma Jean (Williams) Moser; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Cheryl Moser of Sebree; one grandson, Josh Moser of Sebree; one granddaughter and her husband, Kelly and Nick Manicke of West Lafayette, Ind.; mother-in-law, Louise Eastwood of Sebree; two brothers, Albert Kelly Moser of Valparaiso, Ind., and the Rev. Rudy and wife, Mary, Moser of Sebree; a sister, Iris Jean Nall of Eddyville, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. The Rev. Rudy Moser and Rev. Johnny McCurry will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be David Eblen, Jerry Hobgood, C.E. Johnson, Timmy Qualls, Tom Major, Bill Parrish, Mike Faught and Jeff Moser.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Webster County Relay for Life, c/o David Oakley, 209 Cedar St., Providence, KY 42450. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
