She was a member of North Haven General Baptist Church where her ministry of 30 years was caring for the children in the nursery. She also loved gardening and sewing. Her life was defined by serving others.
Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Eastham, and her son, Jerry Eastham.
Emma is survived by her son, Greg Eastham; daughter, Denise Weil and husband, Don; grandchildren, Cheri King, Tonja Vinson, Ryan and Logan Eastham; granddaughter and best friend, Carrie Weil, Christine Beyer, and Mike Weil; daughter-in-law, Jan Eastham; and great-grandchildren, Lauren Frizzell, Mike Vinson, and Donovan Eastham.
Services will be 1 p.m. today, May 23, 2007, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Reverend David Kelle, burial at Sunset Memorial Park. The officiate will be Reverend Ron Austin.
