Gary Warren Mowrer
Owensville, Ind. — Gary Warren Mowrer, 64, passed away Friday April 22, 2011 at the Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville.
He was born the son of Paul Warren and Emma Verdene (Wallace) Mowrer on April 12, 1947 in Princeton, IN.
Gary was a graduate of Owensville High School class of 1965, served in the Army National Guard, retired from the Operating Engineers Local 181 and had worked at Kindall Mine # 2 in Petersburg.Survivors include his wife Delphina (Del) Winona (Warner) Mowrer; son, Kristopher Warren (Leah) Mowrer; grandson, Graydon Warren Mowrer; sister, Carol Ann Wilkerson; sister-in-law, Paula Clark; brother-in-law, Sheridan Doyle Warner; niece, Tammy Patterson.
Services will be 10 AM Tuesday April 26, at Holders Funeral Home in Owensville with the Rev. Bob Douglas officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery in Owensville.Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.The family would personally like to thank Stephanie Reneer, Dr. Mark Titzer and his staff, all the nurses at Deaconess Hospital as well as the Deaconess Hospice staff whom cared for him and his family. Del words, "you are all angels".
Memorials may be made to the Deaconess Hospice Center in memory of Gary.
