Gene Willett Obituary
Bowling Green, Ky.
Rev. Gene Willlett, 77, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Tuesday, February 4. Bro. Willett was born in Morganfield, KY. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Inkenbrandt Willett, 4 children and ten grandchidren. He was a 1954 graduate of Bosse High School.
Funeral servies will be Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11 am at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2 pm until 8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Allen Co, KY.

Carolyn I will kept you and your family in my prayers. Brother Gene was a wonderful pastor and a good friend to me when I was going through a difficult time in my life. May you be surrounded by God's mercy and love during this time of grief.

Carolyn: Billie & I extend to you and the family our deepest sympathies. I had intended be at the services but last night's snowfall has made the drive from from Hopkinsville impractical. I was privileged to be Gene's classmate at Culver Elementary & Bosse High School and then we reconnected in recent years at school reunions, Internet, etc. I will never forget his presentation at our 1954 Bosse Class' 50th Reunion. I will miss him but from his testimony know he's with the Savior and that someday I will have a great reunion with him, as will you.

Gene and I where schoolmates from 5th through 8th grade at Culver elementary. After our days at Bosse high school, we had no contact until the Bosse 50th reunion where we reconnected. I will miss our emailing and sharing jokes. Carolyn, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and that my condolences are deep and sincere.
