Wayne was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Vietnam War as a Hospital Corpsman. Wayne received many honors including the National Defense Service Medal; Navy Achievement Medal; Vietnam Service Medal with three stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post No. 2955 and a life member of the 1st Marine Division.
Wayne is survived by his father and stepmother, Frank and Peggy Kincaid; his brother, Stephen Kincaid and his wife, Malanie; and his sister, Jenny Klamer, all of Evansville. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Jeff Kincaid, Deanna Wegge, Franklin Kincaid and Kristi Klamer.
Wayne is preceded in death by his mother, Anna Jane (Folke) Stute.
Private services are being handled by Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 1236 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714; or to the USS LST Ship Memorial, 840 LST Drive, Evansville, IN 47713.
