Imogene C. (Cox) Shelton Ryan
Evansville, Ind.
Imogene C. (Cox) Shelton Ryan, 76, passed away on December 27, 2012 at St. Marys Medical Center.
Imogene was self employed at Shelton's Tires and Cars, where she sold cars in the 1960's. She also worked at Indian Archery and was a homemaker. Imogene attended Bethel Temple. She enjoyed painting, playing the keyboard, reading and cooking. She truly enjoyed life and being with people.
Imogene was preceded in death by her her first husband, Huston Shelton; and her second husband, David S. Ryan; and her brother, Ronnie Kessinger.
She is survived by her brothers, Eugene S. Cox, of Evansville, Ike Snodgrass and his wife, Shirley, Isiah Snodgrass and his wife, Charleen, and Oral Lee Kessinger and his wife, Shirley, all of Bowling Green, Ky.; sisters, Louise Bullington and her husband Bob, of Evansville, Helen Marie Martin, of Madisonville, Ky., and Margaret Sandborn and her husband, Scott of Bowling Green, Ky.; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 30, 2012, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 1st Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, December 31, 2012, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Barnett Chapel Cemetery in Elberfeld, Ind.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 6301 Old Boonville Hwy, Suite B, Evansville, IN 47715.
