Although I did not know him personally. I have heard his name mentioned many, many times. I could not help but feel the love that Dorothy ,Vonda and Donnie and Ronnie held in their heart's for him. Never did I hear one bad thing about him. It is a honor for me to be able to share in the great love of Dorothy and his three children. I just hope I am loved as much as he was. May the Angels in heaven lead him to the reward he so justly deserves.

Uncle Bucky was always a quiet man, even to the very end. I wished I could say I knew a lot about him. But I did not, but do remember the day he married the love of his life, Dorothy, who brought 3 more cousins to this already big family. I do know he had a huge heart to love and raise 3 children as if they were his own and I know they wished that also. The love the 5 of them shared lasted for over 40 years. The ones who truly knew you and loved you will pass on their love to their children and their children's children. I am hearing some wonderful stories of your life with those 3 kids and am enjoying hearing them, wishing I could have been involved in the fun.
Bucky you will be missed terribly by all , especially by my 3 cousins - Vonda, Donnie and Ronnie. I love all 3 of you so much. Bucky, give Grandma and Grandmpa McCaslin a hug and kiss for me.
XXXX's and OOOO's.

I can't even imagine what our three lives would have been like without you. You gave us a life we only dreamt of having. You took on three children and never showed signs of regret, but guidance and love. We remained in each others lives even though we didn't have to. It was just a bond too strong to break and I am soo thankful for that. I will miss you, and I know my kids will miss their Papaw Buck.

Where do we start? How do your children express in words all the love we feel in our hearts?
We fully understand that you are not our Real dad, but you have always been a REAL Father.
You are, have been and always will be a part of our life. You made a choice to be our father..not out of obligation or burden, but a choice made from your heart.
Thank you for teaching us, thank you for loving us, thank you for the HONOR of calling you our Father!!
With all the love in our Hearts,
Ronnie, Donnie, Vonda

Quiet and sweet are two words that I use to describe my memories of you uncle Buck. You and mom's bond was very special and your gentle spirit is truly a loss to this family. My prayers go out to the ones that you held so dear to you...your three children.
You will be missed.

Buck you were an Uncle for only 10 years in our family but through that time you were very special to us, and we loved you and I know that Vonda, Donnie & Ronnie will miss you terribly. A man that had a big heart and who loved unconditionally. God took a very special person home to be with him.

Although I'm over 900 miles away, please know that you're in my prayers and thoughts and I'm always here to listen.
I remember Uncle Bucky as a 'mystery man'...he never talked much but always had a smile on his face. I remember regular visits to our house on Sunday afternoons to play cards or chit-chat with Mom and Dad...he always drove the coolest cars too!
So, play it sweet in heaven Uncle Bucky, that's right where you should be - see you on the other side.
Hugs and kisses to all,
Heather (Levi), Tom, Sydney and Morgan
