Jerry Neuendorf Obituary
Evansville - Jerry Emil Neuendorf, age 88, of Evansville, IN, passed away at 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Good Samaritan Home.
Jerry was born August 27, 1931, in Evansville, IN, to Emil and Matilda (Neudecker) Neuendorf. He attended Mater Dei High School and graduated from Mechanic Arts. In 1999, Jerry retired from the Evansville Vanderburgh Central Public Library after 12 years of service. He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. Jerry enjoyed fishing and training dogs.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Esther (Murphy) Neuendorf and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Jack Albert Neuendorf; brothers, Harry, Edgar, and Herman Neuendorf; and sisters, Betty Neuendorf Streichenwein, Elsie Neuendorf Bengert, and Mildred Neuendorf Hudson.
The family would like to say thank you to special friends and relatives, Michael and Virginia Pease, Brian and Annie Hudson, and Michael and Barb Neuendorf, and to the Good Samaritan Home and Asera Care Hospice for their loving care and concern.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel - A Family Tradition Funeral Home, 5330 Washington Avenue with Father Ted Temple officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at BOONE FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL.
