Jon David Obituary
Jon was a graduate of the Class of 1985 from Mt. Vernon High School and was employed at Fulton Mfg. Home Products. He was of Catholic faith and was a member of the Sons of Legionnaire. Jon enjoyed riding his Harley, tinkering with motors, and spending time with his family and friends. His heart of gold and his genuine smile will truly be missed.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Julia (Rollett) Nurrenbern and his paternal grandparents, Clinton and Ida Mae (Vaupel) David.
Jon is survived by his parents, Bill and Clara David, his three brothers; Mark, Rick (Mary) and Rob David, all of Mt. Vernon; nephews, Cody (Janielle) and Ross; nieces, Jill and Oryn; his friend, Lisa Kershaw; and aunts, uncle, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Walnut Street, Mt. Vernon, IN, with burial to follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Schneider Funeral Home, 512 Main Street, Mt. Vernon, IN and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, Jon's family requests that memorial contributions please be made to the St. Matthew Catholic Church.

I remember so much about Jon, and though I have not seen him in so many years, I will never forget him and how sweet and wonderful of a person he was. I also went to highschool with Jon and spent many times at your home with great friends. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. GOD bless you ALL!

Thank you everyone for your consoling words and concern. Yes, we will miss Jon's infectious smile and great hugs. He knew he was loved by many. God has him now and God has His arms around all his friends and family.

Steve and I will miss Jon very much. I have lots and lots of wonderful memories of Jon. I wish my boys could have had longer to get to know him. They already loved him too. You all are in our prayers everyday.
