Joyce & I became friends while working together at the Claypool Hotel TWA's ticket counter, Met her 1st husband Stan Fisher, her 2nd husband Bob Vicars as well as her 3rd husband Wayne Douglas. We were all friends, saddened by her passing, she had a 'quick wit' and was fun to be around.

Joycee' my sweet cousin. Why cant I believe you are really gone? I loved you as much as a human can love another. I know many people loved you through the
years.what we had was special & will remain in my heart forever. I hated seeing suffer these last years. Not the Joycee I knew.I had to see you face medical disappointments that were heartbreaking. I will miss you till Im gone. I vow to love
Wayne always & never leave him. Thank you for loving me all my life, singing xmas songs to me in the middle of a hot
summer while playing your accordion. Laughing so hard when I peed dowm the big round floor register @ aunt Kittys house on Oregon st. I was about 3yr. Then many years later you held my hand & my. Heart when I buried my husband Jimmy. You & I were always there for each other. I have lost a part of me that cant be replaced. Im so blessed God let you & I verbally say goodby, embrace, kiss & then you passed into the arms of God while I wasnt looking. Loved you, your Nita Ann

Joyce Ann....what can I say? One of the sweetest, funniest, one of a kind ladies I have ever met. The life of any party. The smile in this photo says it all. I'm not sure who wrote this poem, but I think it totally describes the way Joyce lived life:
“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well
preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body
thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
“Whoo Hoo, what a ride!”
The good times we've all shared have been a blessing in so many ways. We love you & will NEVER ever forget you, sweetie!

Her smile in this photo says it all!

I will always remember my beautiful cousin Joycee as being a role model for class, fun and someone to look up too when I was growing up. She always said we were just alike and I guess I got my sense of travel and adventure from her. I loved how she enjoyed the simple things in life and how she loved our family. I'm happy she doesn't have to endure or suffer anymore sickness but I will truly miss her, however my memories of our times together will never be taken away. love you Joycee ! God Bless you.

Wayne, I am deeply saddened to hear of Joyce's passing.
Joyce was a wonderful story teller. She had a story for every occasion. I loved to hear her giggle and laugh, and we sure did a lot of that while she was in the room with my mother Margaret. Our family sure enjoyed spending time with you and Joyce. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy,
