Haubstadt, Ind.
V. June (Parker) Johnson, 91, of Haubstadt, Ind., formerly of Fort Branch, Ind., passed away on Sept. 1, 2016, at River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton, Ind. She was born on June 14, 1925, in Beloit, Wis., to the late Raleigh and Golda (Maxwell) Dolen.
June was a member of the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church. She was also a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. She enjoyed being with her grandchildren and loved playing cards.
Besides her parents, June is also preceded in in death by her husband, Bob L. Parker.
She is survived by two children, Cindy (John) Hayes, of Haubstadt, Ind., and James Parker, of Evansville, Ind. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Joshua Lee (Leah) Hayes and Melissa June Hayes.
The family would like to show their appreciation to River Oaks Health Campus, in Princeton, Ind., for their wonderful and loving care over the years.
Services for June will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Stodghill Funeral Home in Fort Branch, Ind., with burial in Sunset Memorial Park in Evansville, Ind. Military services will be conducted by VFW Post #2714, in Fort Branch, Ind., and American Legion Post #194, in Haubstadt, Ind., at the cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations can be made to the Fort Branch First United Methodist Church. Expressions of sympathy can be made at www.stodghillfuneralhome.com.
