Linda Gayle (Vance) Embry, 61, of Evansville passed away Thursday January 29, 2015 at Deaconess Medical Center. She was born June 13, 1953 in Evansville to the late Gerald Thomas Embry, I and Violet Mae (Burden) Clark.
Linda was a devoted Christian and loved Bill Graham.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Thomas Embry, II; companion, Mike Vance; niece, Brandy Jo Embry and great nephew, Destyn Fulkerson.
Linda is survived by her sons, Tommy Vance and Toby Vance; daughter, Shawada Vance all of Evansville; grandchildren, Devin, Tia, Teyona, Melissa, Courtney and Chelsey Vance, Hayden and Justine Payne, Toby Vance II, Mikayla and Reagan Vance, Paris, Hannah and Myah Hawes; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Judith Smith; brother, Gerald Thomas Embry IV; step brother, James Blincoe; nephews, Gerald Thomas Embry, III, Vernon Vance, Mark Vance II, John and Jeff Lovell and nieces, Keena Burnham, Cara Wongngamnit, Crystal Hayes, Samantha Hayes and Megan Vance.
Visitation will be from 10:00 - 2:00 pm Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel, 626 N First Ave., Evansville, IN 47710.
Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with Brother Robert Nall officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery.
