Lindy Daniels Obituary
Evansville - Lindy K. Daniels, 61, of Evansville, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.
Lindy was born February 2, 1958 in Evansville to Opal (Smeathers) Daniels and the late Marvin Daniels, Sr. He worked for the City of Evansville as a truck driver for the water department for 16 years; was a member of the Westside Sportman's Club and Foots Lake Club. Lindy enjoyed spending time restoring his 1950 Chevy truck, hunting, fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Surviving Lindy are his wife of 39 years, Debbie (Russler) Daniels; two daughters, Mindy (Chad) Wingert and Amy (Josh) Barnett, both of Evansville; his mother, Opal Daniels of Owensboro, KY; brother, Marvin (Karen) Daniels, Jr. of Evansville and grandchildren, Bella, Knox and Duke Barnett and Tripp and Harper Wingert.
Friends may gather with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street, where there will be a memorial service held at 4:00 PM. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
Lindy's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mark Browning and staff and to his Heritage Hospice nurse Karla for the kind and compassionate care given to Lindy.
