Luella Ricketts Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Luella Mae Leonard Ricketts, 70, made her peaceful transition on November 30, 2012.
She was born December 20, 1941 to the late Maude Kendrick and John Leonard. She was educated in the Evansville-Vanderburgh Public School System and was a dedicated employee of Deaconess Hospital for 28 years. Mrs. Ricketts was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church in Evansville under the leadership of Rev. Adrian M. Brooks, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan "Melvin" Ricketts on January 19, 1998.
Surviving are her children, Debra Louise George (James) and Mark Harlan Ricketts (LaConita); three grandchildren, LeVar St. Germain (Andrea), Brandi and Ebony Ricketts; four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends to cherish her memory.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at Memorial Baptist Church, 605 Canal St, Evansville. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Church. Gamble Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY is handling the arrangements.

To the entire of family of Mama Ricketts, words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss.
We love you Mama Debra. To our Pastor, First Lady, and their children we are continuing to lift you up in prayer. Praying for healing and strength during this time, and as time carries on.
