Marsha Bantle Obituary

Marsha Kaye Bantle

Richland - Marsha Kaye Bantle, age 65, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Marsha was born on February 24, 1955 in Richland, Indiana to the late William "Martin" and Marjorie (Isaacs) Bantle.

She was a 1973 graduate of South Spencer High School. She graduated beauty school and went on to graduate nursing school in 1992. Marsha dedicated her life to taking care of others and made the ultimate sacrifice. She will be remembered for her compassion and kind heart, but most importantly as a hero in this ongoing pandemic. In addition to her parents, Marsha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Mabel Isaacs; her uncle, James Roy Isaacs, Jr; and her cousin, Ted Isaac.

Marsha is survived by her fur babies, Maggie and Peanut, aka "the girls"; her brother, Martin Eugene Bantle of Texas; cousins, John Isaacs (Carol) of Boonville, IN., Michael James (Carrie) of Newburgh, IN., Traci Williams (Emory and Paisleigh) of Boonville, IN., Mindy Voegel (Phil and Keven) of Louisiana, Anastasia McCarroll (Jeffrey) of Newburgh, IN., Brian Isaacs (Everett) of Wisconsin, Shirley Isaac of Taylorsville, IN., James Isaac (Bernice) of Taylorsville, IN., Tony Isaac and family of Florida, Rita Cheatham and family of Florida, and Jamie and Faith King of Florida; lifelong friend, Michael Wilhelmus of Louisville; many other special friends, family, and fellow nursing friends/healthcare heroes.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 4987 W CR 200 N, Richland, Indiana, with Reverend James Haynes officiating. Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport, Indiana has been entrusted with care.

I worked with Marsha at St. Mary's and am sorry to hear of her death. She was just like you described her in the paper, quite a character! I'm glad I got to know her.

Me & my sisters (Marsha & Pam) grew up in Richland with Marsha. I think we were Girls Scouts around the same time too. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her family and friends.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.
