Mount Vernon, Ind.
Michele L. Thomas, 40, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born September 23, 1972, in Evansville, Ind., to Lonnie and Bonnie (Gross) Thomas.
She had worked at GARC, and loved to dance and sing karaoke.
Michele was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Thomas; brother, Jamey (Robin) Thomas; aunts, Carolyn (Ben) Coburn, and Juanita (Jerry) Russell; nieces and nephews, Kayla and Derek Thomas, Brandon Geary, Josh Goodwin and Rebekah (Trent) Thompson.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Schneider Funeral Home 512 Main Street in Mount Vernon, with burial to follow at Bellefontaine cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Posey County Rehabilitation Services.
