Mollie Miles, 85, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Branchville, IN on October 3, 1927.
Mollie had retired from Tell City Chair Company after 35 years. She enjoyed yard work, gardening, watching birds and wild animals and cooking. She was married on June 20, 1942 to Wilfred Miles, who precedes her in death in 2010. Also preceding her in death is a son, Danny; father, James Pollard; mother, Elva (Esarey) Wheatley; step father, Herb Wheatley; brothers, Charlie and Ronald Pollard; a sister, Lorraine Miles.
Surviving are her children, Terry Miles, Fred Miles and fiancée, Toni and Sherry Kraus and husband, Mark, all of Tell City;a sister, Alice Fendley of Indianapolis; four grandchildren, Tim Miles, Nicole Wafford, Michael Schaeffer and Desiree Layne; five great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be private at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home.

God did get an angel. she welcomed me into the family over 23 years ago. She cared for me just like a daughter, and am proud to call her mom.
