Nancy (Kingsbury) Claybrook Waters, 78, of Evansville, passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at Columbia Health Care. She was born March 5, 1938, in Evansville, IN to the late Clarence and Georgia (Anspach) Kingsbury.

She graduated from Bosse High School and retired from General Tire in 1993. Nancy was a member of the Moose Lodge, Owls, Eagles and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved reading, listening to country music, dancing, getting her hair done and playing Rummy. She spent years bowling in various leagues with all her daughters. Nancy was great at following traditions during holidays, a trait that she passed on to all her children.

Nancy was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian Reuter; sister, Wanda Dean; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Waters; children, Darla (Tommy) Lynn, Deena (Glen) Cox, Tammy (Joe) Schaefer, Roxanne (Andy) Hudnall and Stevan (Terri) Kelsey; grandchildren, Misty Seaton, Robin Lynn, Matthew Lynn, Ashley Swope, Tommy Schaefer, Andrew Hudnall and Allyson McCurry; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, October 20, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Larry Albritton, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
