Phyllis A. Boyle, 81, of Owensville, IN went to be with the Lord May 25, 2019. She was born December 27, 1937 in Owensville, IN to the late Russell Linxwiler and Bertha (Garrison) Linxwiler. Phyllis graduated Owensville High School in 1956. She married the love of her life Warren "Jack" Boyle January of 1956. Phyllis was a homemaker for many years, then ran Phyllis' Beauty Shop as a hairdresser and worked at Joe's Red and White. She was a member of the American Legion Woman Auxiliary Club in Owensville. Phyllis loved her children and grandchildren; she always had a house full. She enjoyed gardening and planning her class reunions.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren "Jack" Boyle; son Brock Boyle; grandchildren Andrew Weaver and Colin McClellan.
Phyllis is survived by her children Kim (Bill) Weaver and Stacy (Chris) McClellan; daughter-in-law Laura Boyle; grandchildren Sara (Chris) Cicero, Megan (Brett) Earnest, and Brogan McClellan; great grandchildren Will, Finley, Cohen Cicero, Collins Earnest, and Jordyn Weaver.
Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Boyle. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Holders Funeral Home from 4p-8p and 10a-11a on Thursday. Funeral will be Thursday at 11a with Bart Newton officiating. Interment will follow at Owensville Cemetery.
The family would like to thank River Oaks for their compassionate care and many laughs and memories that were made over the last three years.
