Raymond Todich Obituary

Raymond "Ray" Todich Sr., of Evansville, and formerly of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009, at Deaconess Hospital after a long battle with emphysema.

He retired from his drywall business after 30 years and was well-known and respected in the housing trades.

Ray was also an excellent fisherman and finished well in the Bass Masters Circuit for several years.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janina (Nina) Todich; sons, Eli and Joshua Todich, both of Evansville; grandson, Lucas Moore-Todich; son, Raymond Todich Jr. and wife, Stephanie (Turpin) Todich, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and grandson, Merrick Mason.

Ray was a hard-working guy with a good heart.

Friends may call at the home residence on Chadwick Road anytime.

Nina, God bless you and the boys in your time of sorrow. IMHO Ray was the best ceiling texture person in Evansville. And I remember his passion for bass fishing, he competed with the best in the tournaments.
