Robert Basham Obituary
Bob retired from Whirlpool Corp. after more than 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. Robert was a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 2953. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by daughters, Sheila Hay (John) of Tennyson, Ind., Cheryl Conner of Evansville, Kim Barton, Ill., and Lisa Godwin (Corey) of Winslow, Ind.; sons, Dale Conner (Gidget), Ill., and Robert Basham Jr. (Barb) of Evansville; sisters, Brownie Cooper and Joan Brandle; brothers, Alvin Basham (Linda) and Paul Basham; and grandchildren, Amanda Horne (Branden), Andrew Hay, Levi Conner, Braxton Sauls, Morgan Conner, Noah Basham, Mikayla Feldpausch, Amber Feldpausch and Grace Basham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Katie Basham; sister, Louise Fritz; and brothers, Edward Ray "Bub" and Billy Basham.
There will be no services at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.
Private services will be held at a later date.
