Robert L. Huffman Jr., 80, of Chrisney, Ind., passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at his home.

Robert was born in Tennyson, Ind. on January 28, 1936, to the late Robert L. Huffman Sr. and Wilhelma (Kuhn) Huffman.

Robert was a member of the Tell City Seventh Day Adventist. He had worked at Indiana Bell Telephone for many years. He owned and operated the Rockport Boat Club and was a towboat pilot.

Robert is survived by his wife, Margie Huffman, of Chrisney, Ind.; children, Mike Huffman and his wife, Mona, of Hendersonville, Tenn., Randy Huffman and his wife, Stacy, of Rockport, Ind., and Greg Huffman and his wife, Mary, of Newburgh, Ind.; grandchildren, Ken Huffman and his wife, Kristen, Nicole, Taylor, Ethan, Nathan and Heather Huffman; great-grandchildren, Kole and Kaylee Huffman; siblings, Bill, Donald, Harold, Charles and David Huffman; many nieces and nephews.

Services are 3 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016, at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Youngblood Chapel at 36 E. Market St. Chrisney, IN 47611, with Pastor Melvin Matthews officiating. Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney.

Visitation is from 2 until 8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016, and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
