Betty, I am so sorry for your loss. I wish I would have been there for Bob at the end of his journey. Bob and I became very close thru the American Legion. I had the pleasure of meeting you on one of my many visits to Angel River. I spent so much time with Bob, he became my very best friend, we talked every day for hours. He was not just a friend but almost like another dad to me. He was always there to listen with an open ear and was very sincere in his friendship. I could sit and listen to his war strories for hours, he was very proud of his life as he should have been. Just to let you know I believe Bob is finally resting and no longer in pain. I loved him dearly and was very saddened to hear about his death. I will always know that he is still my angel watching over me as he is for you. My thought and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I will miss him for a very long time. Beth

Bob Moye was my uncle. He was a good man and served his country in ways that we will never know, can only imagine. He was truly the finest example of the Greatest Generation. He will be missed by all the Rutledges, especially his sister, my mother.
Rest In Peace Uncle.
