Evansville, Ind.
Robert P. Witham, 87, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014, at his home. He was born to the late Dosha and Sara (Cravin) Witham on April 3, 1927 in Evansville Ind.
Robert was WWII Navy veteran. He retired from Whirlpool in 1986 after 40 years, and was a member of the Local 808 Electrical Union. Robert also enjoyed wood working and loved his pets.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Neva Witham; parents; three brothers; and one sister.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Fischer (Craig), of Evansville; son, Gary Witham (Kathy), of Warrick County; son, Ronald Witham (Cindy), of Evansville; daughter, Angie Engler (Rick), of Evansville; son, David Palmer (Terri), of Florida; son, Greg Curtis (Shelia), of Evansville; 14 grandchildren including, Catrina and Caitlyn Fischer; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014, at Ziemer Funeral Home North Chapel, 6300 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710.
Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Sean Esterline officiating .
Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society, 400 Milner Industrial Dr., Evansville, IN 47710.

Whatever your measure of greatest is…
He was always at his happiest when he
could share something with others.
He was always willing to listen to you
without judgment
But more than anything was his passion, for life and for the success in others.
There will be a Bob size whole in the lives of all that he touched. He will be missed.
