Samuel Steinmetz Obituary
Evansville, Ind.
Samuel Lester Steinmetz, 44, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital Main Campus.
Sam was the founder and former owner of Sam's Pizzeria. He was a graduate of Reitz High School where he played soccer and ran track; attended and played soccer at USI and was a Indiana Golden Gloves boxing champion.
Surviving Sam are his parents, Lester and Terry (Stambush) Steinmetz.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street. Private graveside services will be held at Campground Cemetery.

I apologize for not posting sooner but I literally happened upon this sad news yesterday. I was and am in shock. Sam will always have a little piece of my heart. He certainly was lucky to have you!
